  • How can I upgarde the Firmware?
Firmware can be upgraded via connected USB cable to the SimpleBGC Software. Establish the connection, go to the tab "Firmware upgrade" check the box "Check for Beta versions too" and press "Check". Compare the Firmware version with the version which we officially released for our gimbal on our website at Support - Software/Driver Downloads.
Important: Please ensure that the Adventurer is powered off while performing an upgrade! Please refer to following notice.

  • How long does the battery last?
The operation time is approx. 6h (whitout charging the camera)

  • I recognize a slight horizontal drift. What can I do?
The Adventurer comes with an integrated Anti-Drift Circuit which prevents loosing the horizon. In some cases it still might happen since the sensors are temperature dependant. In this case, put the gimbal on a tripod and power it on. Press and hold the Camera-Button for 2sec until you see in the OLED "Gyro Calib". Prevent any vibrations or disturbance during the calibration process. The motors will power on automatically once the calibration is finished and the gimbal should be now levelled again.
